Biography
Nara was born into a wealthy family in the capital of Tristan. She had the opportunity to attend the most
prestigious institution on the continent where she became enamored with all things related to magic. Shutting out all elements of her life
except for her studies, she became a brilliant mage at a young age.
At the height of her career, Nara and her students uncovered ancient texts which detailed a branch of magic which had been banned and forgotten for centuries. This art used ingredients collected from various living organisms to create a substance (commonly called a potion) which could then be used in the place of conventional magic by any person. Realizing the potential benefits humanity could gain from this technology, Nara received permission from the king of Tristan to research it.
It was one of Nara's own students who misused this power. Nara fought throughout the Archmage War to
put a stop to the events which unfolded from his mistake and finally developed the weapon that destroyed the Archmage. Even this victory could not ease her conscience, and she retired to a secluded residence.
Years later she received a message from William Everazure, an ally from the Archmage War, stating that her friend Cyrrus's wife recently died under mysterious circumstances. She performed an autopsy and examined the site of the death, but could not explain the circumstances even with her immense knowledge.
She decided to stay and help William take care of Cyrrus and Lilya's orphaned son. Being a patient and caring mentor for Rien has helped her to come to terms with her last student's actions and her inability to save him. Nara continued her never-ending research even in those lands which rejected magical study. When her residence (built by William) was discovered, she decided to leave immediately. Since then she has set up in the forests outside of Tristan trying to unwravel the mysteries of the universe as always.
